IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS 

1. To participate in an Obedience European Winner, dogs must be at least 15 months of age, and registered in a studbook, approved by the F.C.I. This competition takes place under the patronage of the FCI. It is also required that the handler and the dog have passed the highest Obedience level in their country, at least once. 

2. Obedience European Championship 2007 is arranged in association with the Euro Dog Show 2007 and it is not necessary that the dog is entered in the dog show.


3. Bitches in heat are allowed to compete, but must perform last. They must be kept off the competition premises and nearby surroundings until all other dogs have completed their exercises. Bitches that have given birth less than eight weeks before the competition date and bitches expected to give birth within four weeks must be excluded. 

4. If a judge has bred a dog or had a dog for training, or if a dog has been living in the judge’s household within one year of the competition he or she cannot act as judge in this competition. 

5. The minimum age of handlers at this competition is 15 years.

6. Only the official representatives of a country may enter and that entrance can only be accepted if it was made through a Kennel Club affiliated with the FCI. 

7. Dogs with cropped ears and tails can participate at obedience competition.

8. Only dogs whose registrations and copies of payment are sent by 21.04.2007 shall be entered in the catalogue.

The maximum number of entries per day in the FCI European Winner Competition is 25 dogs. 
The European Winner Competition will be a three-day competition with a maximum of 75 entries.

Should the number of entries exceed the maximum number of entries allowed; the dates of receipt of the payment will be decisive. 
Please return the entry form with the following documents:

 - Copy of the pedigree
-  Copy of the obedience certificate

9. The organiser takes no responsibility for registrations sent by fax.  Such registrations require telephone confirmation. 

10. COMPETITORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THEIR DOGS. 

11. Throughout the Obedience Championship dogs must be under control of their exhibitors/competitors. 

12. Prior to entering the Obedience Championship premises, dogs shall be examined by the veterinary service. A certificate of vaccination against rabies must be shown, and also a valid health certificate for each dog. 

13. Aggressive, sick dogs and also dogs not entered in the Obedience Championship may not be brought onto the show/ Obedience Championship premises. 

14. Within the Obedience Championship and in the surrounding areas the sale of puppies shall be absolutely prohibited. 

15. Should the Obedience Championship be cancelled for reasons beyond organisers’ control (e.g. rabies), the registration fee shall be returned to the competitors; minus a deduction to meet the cost.

 

If necessary, the judge should check the dogs outside the ring before the start of the competition.
